Connecting with people in a meaningful way has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I am incredibly fortunate to love what I do.
My clients describe me as sincere, genuine, creative and fun. I connect easily with people of all ages and I excel at building trust and a safe place to explore. I specialize in treating individuals and families in conflict or transition. I use a variety of effective counseling methods acquired from my studies and training in psychodynamic, humanistic, cognitive behavioral, and existential theories. Multicultural counseling theory along with years of diversity and empowerment training inform my perspective. I have extensive training and experience in trauma related therapy techniques.
